Paul Cunningham - President - ext. 112
In 1976 Paul began as a Carpenter's Helper working in residential construction.  In 1978 he moved to Houston, Texas where he worked with Commercial Drywall, Inc.  He then attended Carpenter Apprenticeship School and worked as a foreman on high-rise construction projects. 

In 1988 Paul returned to Ohio and worked with Architectural Interiors, Inc. for one year, then founded Competitive Interiors, Inc. in March 1989.  As President, he oversees all operations of the company.

Nancy Cunningham - Vice President / Treasurer - ext. 102
In 1982, Nancy began as Secretary of the Estimating Department  with Commercial Drywall, Inc. in Houston, Texas.  She then transferred to the payroll department, where she was accountable for 1200 employees in the field.

In 1988 Nancy returned to Ohio and in 1989 co-founded Competitive Interiors, Inc. with her husband, Paul.  As Vice President / Treasurer she is responsible for payroll and accounting.

Linda Beutler - Admin. Assistant / Receptionist - ext. 101
Linda joined Competitive Interiors, Inc. in 1996.  As Administrative Assistant / Receptionist, she is the first to greet visitors to the office.  She prepares correspondence, assists in the payroll process and is responsible for most other general office duties.

Jay Polenske - Chief Estimator - ext. 111
In 1987 Jay began working with Jet Construction as a Carpenter's Apprentice while attending Apprenticeship school.  He joined Competitive Interiors, Inc. in 1992 as a Carpentry Foreman, and in 1998 was promoted to his current position of Project Manager / Estimator.

Steve Folger - Project Manager / Estimator - ext. 107
From 1987 to 1997 Steve worked as a Store Manager and Estimator with Buy-Rite Home Center, where he was responsible for overall store operations.  In 1992 he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Kent State University. 
He began working as a Project Manager / Estimator with Competitive Interiors, Inc. in 1997.

Kyle Franzen - Project Manager / Estimator - ext. 103
Kyle lived in Texas and Arizona for 20 years with jobs in construction and industrial sales. He returned to Ohio, and started with Competitive Interiors,Inc in 1999. He completed the carpentry apprenticeship, and worked as a journeyman union carpenter until being promoted to project manager/estimator in 2006.

Darrell Snyder - Project Manager / Estimator - ext. 104
Darrell worked with GQ Contracting for 24 years as a journeyman, foreman, and was the General Field Supt. his last 6 years at G.Q. before joining with Competitive Interiors, Inc. in 2004. He retired from the trades in 2005 and has joined our office as a Project Manager/ Estimator.

Jack Walden - Director of Construction - ext. 105
In 1981, Jack began as a carpenter working in commercial construction.  As a foreman with Nicholson Systems of Akron, OH, he worked on many projects including office and retail buildings, hospitals and schools.  In 1993 he joined Competitive Interiors, Inc. as a carpenter and subsequently worked as a  foreman and was promoted to his current position.  As Director of Construction, Jack now oversees the operations of all projects and manpower.

Walt Eversole - Warehouse Manager - ext. 109
In 1971 Walt joined Carpenter's Local #639.  He began working with Competitive Interiors in 1993 and worked as a union carpenter until retiring in 2002.

He is currently working as Warehouse Manager with Competitive Interiors, Inc..
